Many of us survive in this world by acquiring food and water. Human beings and other living creatures exist in the world only through these two components. Human beings do work and utilize their knowledge in gaining those components for survival and so the animals. But, the contrasting nature is that human beings can acquire them at the stake of money whereas animals and other living beings don’t require such things to fulfill their stomach. As human beings search and do things to acquire the needful, they are pulled into several issues that damage their healthy lifestyle. “Health is Wealth” though it is a proverb, it has a huge reflection to be felt and to be sensed by human beings in all walks of life.
Being healthy is more important than being wealthy. An infant born is always healthy but the unnatural environment that is being surrounded leads to the damaged health condition of an infant. In ancient days, people are not affected by any kind of terrible disease. Though people are affected by the diseases like jaundice, fever, chickenpox, etc., they overcome it by maintaining proper health tips and get rid of serious issues more easily. So maintain a healthy lifestyle in this current generation also to overcome ill health.
This is because of the practice that they had followed like walking, working in Agri fields, riding bullock carts, and mostly they gave importance to the food that makes them healthy. Though generation changes, people also change and make things too change around them. In this current generation, we could see most of the things are done only by machines made up of the human brain. But, in olden days, every work is done physically by men and women. Huge differences can be visualized between the old generation and the new generation. So just try to be active and do follow some fitness activities that make you stay fit.
The principles and beliefs followed by our ancestors have healthy tips for the improvement of one’s health. In the religion of Hindus, the sit-ups or thoppukaranam that we put for the Lord Ganesha seems to be the procedure to be followed while praying God. The same thing is followed in the current generation in such a way that it uplifts the concentration power of the people so that they could stay calm and do things without any distraction. This concept is being followed even in the current generation in schools to make students learn with attention. The idealogy is the same but the followers and reasons to follow are being changed according to the existing generation in the world.
Those days, people were not known for tables and chairs to be used for having food. Usually, they will have their foods by sitting on the floor with folded legs with all kinds of dishes. Sitting on the floor, using vessels made up of bronze, copper, serving food in banana leaf, serving with happy heart, eating with all relations are the early practices that make them live healthily and stay fit. The only thing we could do is that, we should have a practice of sitting on the floor to have food and have it with the family members or friends.
This made their souls stay refreshed and healthier although life. But nowadays people used to have their foods either by sitting on chairs or else eat in a place where ever they get space. They use plastic containers to store their food which utterly damages a healthy lifestyle. The abnormal thing to be worried is that people don’t even care about water while having foods rather they need their mobile phones besides them always while eating. This scenario is not taught to anyone from their birth but then they follow this by seeing the people around them. This practice leads the human to various health and mental illness not at once but in the future with lots of damage in their health condition. So being healthy is possible if a person realize the necessity of it and do some changes in lifestyle to be healthy.
Being fit cannot be achieved through daily exercise, running, jogging, walking, etc., It can be achieved but the soul feels happy and is fit only when the practices followed in olden days are continued by the people of the current generation. Fitness comes not only in physical appearance but also in mental expression in all sorts of activities. The reason for spreading awareness on being fit is to ensure people with the proper solution for the problems that they have in life. The proper and healthy lifestyle are to be followed regularly to have a balance between the mind, body and spirit.
A healthy lifestyle can be achieved through the healthy food schedule that we intake during our lifetime. Our body gains nutrients, proteins, minerals only through the food that we take in our daily life. Avoiding healthy foods by its appearance or name seems to be silly and it turns to be adversity that hits our healthy lifestyle. Human beings must possess both physical and mental fitness to overcome any situation in life. Physical fitness can be gained by having foods that has plenty of vitamins, minerals, proteins for a good health that prevents health issues.
In olden days, people use natural ingredients as medicines to cure any problems they have related to health. Medicines consisting of syrups, tablets were unknown to the people in olden days but in the current generation, people get used to those medicines regularly. The fact is that Medicines, certain practices for being fit, and the entire food diet schedule as per the prescription of doctors are considered as an eye-wash to the soul. The soul knows what exactly it needs and it leads the human to acquire it. So, this Fit India Movement aims people to be fit by following practices that were followed in olden days for the sake of a healthy lifestyle. So avoid taking medicines for small health issues like head pain, stomach pain, light fever etc., take healthy food items that includes the addition of spices which helps in improving the health status. Do understand the needful things and work to gain it. Rather than using things that gives instant relief ,use natural items that enhances the life style permanently.

Being fit is not meant for the physical appearance of the world but it is the soul that is being exhibited through characters and makes you a millionaire who has a healthy lifestyle rather being a person with huge defects in health. So, I conclude by saying that the “ Fit India Movement’ is just a small seed being buried in the motherland of India. The citizens of India must care about the seed, water it daily, and protect it till it grows. If one person takes initiative, it attracts many others to follow this practice. “Practice makes a man perfect” and following the principles for a healthy lifestyle makes Indians live without diseases and India with the disease-free country in the world. Try to inculcate new values that nature has already given us, don’t make your mind travel in a pathway of the artificial track. Being a naturalist is very helpful to a person to exist in this world.
It might be a silly thing to read but when you realize it you will love to do it. Stay connected with nature and protect nature as much as possible. Nature in its turn helps you during difficult situations in life. Whatever you give to the world, it returns you in the same manner. So, always be ready to give something to the world that uplifts your generation and make the next generation travel and lead with good health and prosperity. Work to make the soul and body to be fit enough althrough your life.
The pandemic situation of COVID-19 seems to be affecting the world. It has turned the world population within no time. People with good health can overcome any situations like this if they had followed a healthy lifestyle during their lifetime. The people who don’t care about their health are left in such a way that no one could help them at any moment. No medicines or treatments can help them unless they follow a healthy lifestyle and maintain their fitness daily. So, always be confident enough to maintain self-health and be a healthy person to overcome all the situations in an easy way. Spread your health and positivity to the world so that every living being can also be healthier and fitter.
